Cookie Policy

Last updated October 20, 2026.

Pet Custody keeps cookies to a minimum. This page lists exactly what is in use and how to change your choice.

1What these are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage does the same job and works the same way. We use both, and we call them cookies on this page.

2What Pet Custody uses today

Right now Pet Custody uses only the essential kind. They keep you signed in and remember your choices. Without them the site cannot work, so they are on whatever you choose.

NameWhat it doesHow long
Sign in token (browser storage)Keeps you signed in as you move between pagesUntil you sign out or it expires
petcustody_consent_v1 (browser storage)Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every pageUntil you clear your browser data or change your choice

When you pay, confirm your identity or sign, you are on pages run by Stripe or SignWell. They set their own cookies there, under their own policies.

3Optional cookies

Optional cookies are for measuring how people use the site (analytics) and for showing or measuring ads (marketing). We do not run any today. If we add them later, they will stay off until you accept them, and the banner will ask again if what we use changes.

Accepting or declining today changes nothing about how the site works, because only essential cookies are in use.

4Your choices

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, but the site may stop working if you block the essential ones.

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, optional marketing tools stay off.
